Our Mission & Vision

The Leap O' Faith Therapeutic Riding program performs a form of therapy for people with special needs with the use of horses. Each participant is matched to a specifically trained therapy horse based on the needs of the rider. An equine therapy program promotes safe, professional, research-based, equine-assisted activities and therapies. Through specially designed activities on horse-back the rider is empowered, enriched and educated. The physical and emotional accomplishments that riders achieve are a direct result of the interaction and rhythmic motion that equine therapy provides. Additionally, horse therapy programs allow riders to achieve cognitive, social and emotional improvements resulting in improved self-esteem, concentration and independence.

Leap O' Faith TRC serves children & adults with special needs in the Ada, Byng, Latta and surrounding areas. Students ride our specially trained therapeutic horses for approximately 40 minutes per week assisted by a horse handler, two side walkers and a certified PATH International instructor.
